Scott McWilliams, MD and Augustine Romano, MD, and their practice, Sound Neurology, have joined Stony Brook Community Medical, �ǿ����޴�ý's expanding network of community practices and physicians. Both Dr. McWilliams and Dr. Romano specialize in neurology and clinical neurophysiology and have been serving the Port Jefferson and Rocky Point communities for more than 20 years.

"At Sound Neurology, we are pleased to come full circle in our Stony Brook experience. From attending medical school and completing our residency and fellowship training at �ǿ����޴�ý, to subsequently training residents through our volunteer work in the Department of Neurology," said Scott McWilliams, MD. "We are looking forward to our next chapter with Stony Brook Community Medical and we will continue to provide the highest level of neurological care to our community, knowing we have the full support of our alma mater."

�ǿ����޴�ý welcomes private practices that are committed to the needs of their community and to providing the highest level of quality care.

Coyle, MD, Interim Chair, Department of Neurology, �ǿ����޴�ý. “Our department knows both of them well, as they are former trainees and have served ably over the years teaching in our Residency Outpatient service. We look forward to their bringing a community viewpoint to expand the neurology experience for our faculty, students and fellows.”

Both Dr. McWilliams and Dr. Romano attended medical school, completed their residencies and fellowships at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. Both doctors served as chief resident in their last year of residency and completed their fellowships in neurophysiology. 

Sound Neurology is currently accepting new patients and has office hours Monday through Friday and two Saturdays a month.
