Stony Brook University Hospital and Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Once Again Earn 鈥楢鈥 in Patient Safety

Stony Brook University Hospital (SBUH) and (SBSH) have both earned an 鈥楢鈥 Hospital Safety Grade for Spring 2025 from The Leapfrog Group, an independent nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety.

Leapfrog assigns letter grades to general听hospitals across the country based on over 30 performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.鈥
