New Moms: In partnership with Suffolk County Department of Health Services and hosted by Stony Brook University Hospital, learn how to access programs and services designed to keep you and your baby healthy. Free panel discussion on maternal health followed by screening of the film 鈥淏ehind the Joy鈥 about the impact of postpartum depression. Free entry with RSVP. Panel begins at 6:00 p.m., movie begins at 6:45 p.m.

This free event is presented by Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, sponsored by The Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons, and features 星空无限传媒 Physicians and Women鈥檚 Wellness specialists.

- Welcome: Emily Mastaler, Chief Administrative Officer, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital
- What to expect as you enter Perimenopause and transition into Menopause
- How to manage symptoms, including irregular periods, vaginal dryness, hot flashes, night sweats, weight gain, difficulty sleeping, moodiness, brain fog, headaches, skin breakouts, hair thinning and much more.
- What we can do to ease symptoms and thrive while balancing life鈥檚 demand
- The benefits of exercise, nutrition, behavioral health, pelvic floor therapy, and what you need to know about women鈥檚 safety
Following the panel discussions, visit tables featuring women鈥檚 services. Spanish translators will be on-site.
Save the Date! Stony Brook University and Medicine proudly announce , scheduled for Saturday, September 27. This annual, festival-style event is free and open to the public and will be held from 12-4 pm on the Academic Mall, with an indoor rain plan in place for the same day in the Stony Brook Arena.
