Briana Cohen, MD received her medical degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University and completed her pediatric residency at Stony Brook Children's Hospital. As a lifelong resident of Suffolk County, Dr. Cohen looks forward to providing care for the community that has helped raise her. Her professional interests include neonatal and newborn care, providing comprehensive care for children and adolescents with chronic illnesses and patient advocacy. She also has a special interest in caring for NICU graduates as one herself. In her personal life, she likes to remain active by playing tennis and being an avid supporter of the arts: digital and theater/performing arts.

received her medical degree from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Following her medical degree, she completed her general pediatrics residency training at the Children’s Medical Center of Dayton.
Dr. Gaetano practiced in both outpatient pediatrics and express care in Ohio for 12 years prior to joining Southampton Pediatric Associates, and continues to teach medical residents in training in her position as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.

Dr. Gaetano is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), as well as the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).

is a board-certified pediatrician who has been caring for children and families in our community for over 25 years and has been providing care at our practice since 2005.
She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed her pediatric residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
Dr. Halitsky previously served as Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Southampton Hospital for 15 years and was the hospital’s Neonatal Liaison from 2003 to 2022. She is an active member of the Medical Advisory Board for the Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center at Stony Brook since its founding and is a former board member of the Flying Point Foundation for Autism.
Her special areas of interest include neonatal and newborn medicine, as well as developmental pediatrics
