The Stony Brook Bariatric and Metabolic Weight Loss Center's board-certified doctors utilize a multidisciplinary approach, and their extensive experience (which includes more than 2,000 bariatric surgeries), to offer both surgical and non-surgical (medical management, diet and exercise plans, counseling, behavior modification and group support) weight loss programs. Constantly recognized, nationally, for outstanding performance and outcomes standards, the Bariatric and Metabolic Weight Loss Center has achieved the top-level Comprehensive Center with Adolescent Qualifications accreditation from the .
For 21 years, the FourLeaf BoLI contest has created an annual guide to the best of Nassau and Suffolk county businesses and services, by enabling the Long Island community to nominate and vote for their favorites over the course of each year. In the 2026 voting, more than 1.3 million votes were cast.
