Welcome to the Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery

A Message from the Division Chief

Rabih Chaer, MD

Over the years, ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½'s Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery has remained committed to pioneering groundbreaking surgical interventions and innovative research. Our mission is simple — to offer the highest quality, patient-centered care using thorough diagnoses and individualized treatment plans focused on controlling risk factors and saving limbs and lives.

We treat a wide breadth of vascular diseases and conditions. Our expertise in open, endovascular and hybrid procedures is enhanced by our two dedicated state-of-the-art hybrid operating rooms, an outpatient office-based cutting-edge lab and clinical trials that give our patients access to groundbreaking technologies and minimally invasive interventions and allow us to achieve outcomes that are among the best in the nation.

Furthermore, our multidisciplinary approach to patient care means that our patients will not only have the advantage of being treated by our expert vascular and endovascular surgeons, but also by ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½'s leading cardiac surgeons, cardiologists and podiatrists. --  -John J. Ricotta Endowed Professor in Vascular Surgery - Chief of the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Division

SVS VQI Award

SVS VQI AwardFor the third year in a row, our vascular team has been awarded three stars, the highest awarded rating by the Society for Vascular Surgery's Vascular Quality Initiative for their contribution in the Registry Participation Program. Year after year, our Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery has been awarded and recognized for their focus on continuous improvement in patient care.

The mission of SVS VQI is to improve the quality, safety, effectiveness and cost of vascular healthcare. The SVS VQI collects pre-operative risk factors, intra-procedural variables, post-procedural outcomes and one-year follow-up data in 14 major vascular procedure Registries.
