    • Operating in an ethically and culturally sensitive manner, the Mind-Body Clinical Research Center fosters awareness, growth, and resiliency building during each step of the healing process. Our clinical services include individual treatment and group-based treatment programs. Our group-based programs are our frontline form of treatment. (Stress management and resiliency groups, weight management groups, stand up for anxiety groups, CBT and DBT groups)

    • CAPS provides inclusive access to psychology and psychiatric services to help students grow and flourish by hearing them as they wish to be understood. Services include crisis intervention, brief counslling for individuals, couples, and groups; consultation to students, faculty, staff, friends, and parents; medication management; and assistance with referrals to community resources.

  • Daily Mindfulness Meditation is available onÌýÌýat 8am and 12 noon for **employees and staff only**

  • Resilience at the Brook Room
    • Offers ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ employees and physicians a place just for them to rest and re-energize. In addition to the relaxation materials and massage chairs available in the room, there are daily meditations, pet therapy, yoga, wellbeing walks and more.   • Ìýis to offer the internationally renowned Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course on-site to Stony Brook employees, faculty and students. This eight-week course encourages overall well-being through meditation, gentle movement and discussion.

    Classes begin on Saturday, Oct. 14, and those who take the course must be willing to make a strong commitment to attend all classes.
